Back Yard Stone Patio And Lawn

After years of talking about wanting to re-do our backyard and turn it into our own little oasis, we finally decided to move forward with it this year.

In early spring we called about 10 different landscaping companies in total, many saying they were already booked up for the year or didn't bother to call us back. We eventually were able to get a few quotes, including one from Pro-Loc, and we are very happy that we took the time to keep searching.

Paul showed up when he said, and went over our plans. He made some great suggestions and was very open to providing a quote based on a few different portions of the project. We had been contemplating doing the raised bed gardens ourselves and decided to go this route.

We hired Pro-Loc to create a beautiful patio area for our family so that we could eat meals outside and also just relax and enjoy our space. We also had them rip up our old, weed-infested lawn, and replace this with new sod. In addition, they took up some ground and added gravel at the side of our house to improve water flow.

Paul had said they would be able to start early August and sure enough they were there August 1st! They completed the whole job in under 2 days and made some great suggestions and improvements as they worked.

We have been extremely impressed with the team from Pro-loc from start to finish. We are so extremely pleased with the work they preformed on our home and the customer service that was provided. Paul was an absolute pleasure to deal with. We initially met with him and he was extremely knowledgeable and honest when providing a quote. Nothing Short Of Exceptional...

In today's world of contractors, I am less likely to be compelled to leave a review however with Pro-Loc there was no hesitation. Having restored and or renovated countelss properties over the years, Alec, Bill, Paul and the Pro-Loc team are by far the most competent and professional contractor I have worked with and on more than one occasion. From the start communication and scheduling and suggestions for design is easy with Paul. The crew show up when they say and complete the job on time. All the while with a genuine respect given to not only the customer and the project but with regard to the neighbours as well. Accomadating and patient every step of the way it is a pleasure watching this team work as there is a clear level of respect for one another. There is a clear passion for doing a great job with an artistic flair while appreciating that each creation is a someone's special place. It is no wonder there are so many 10/10 reviews. Wish I had another project to do!

Patio, Sidewalk And Front Step

Pro-Loc did a very good job with the interlocking on the new patio, side walkway and front step we were doing at our house.

From the start when they came over to provide a quote, they were very knowledgeable and did a very good job explaining what they would be doing. And as the project moved forward, the crews that came and did the work did very well and cleaned up after themselves when they were finished.

I am very satisfied with the work they have done and would not hesitate in recommending their work to others.

What an exceptional experience. I found Pro-Loc through HomeStars, and after meeting with Paul for an initial consultation, it was clear that everything said about Pro-Loc was true. Paul had great ideas, knew his product, and was very clear and open with his pricing. They started when they said they would, kept the property clean, and finished on time. All this was great, but the most important thing about Paul and his team, was how they stood behind their work. One year after the initial install, some stones came loose - Paul and team came back without hesitation and put in extra effort to make sure everything was 100%. I highly recommend Pro-Loc and would use them again in heartbeat.

Interlocking Patio

What an excellent experience with Pro-loc we had. We wanted a patio to replace our small deck we had in the backyard. We had dreams of a beautiful space where we could have a outdoor dining area and a fire pit, etc. I always worry about having people do work for me as I am afraid of getting ripped off and even more so of having poor workmanship or of a contractor cutting corners. All of those fears disappeared the first time I spoke with the Pro-lock team. They had a certain pride about them that made me feel that they would the job as if it were for their own home. Boy did they deliver. Not only did they do the job fairly quickly, but with the utmost respect for my property and family. Their recommendations to do the best job possible were logical and they didn't gouge me on their suggested upgrades. Finally, when they started putting the patio design I chose and I saw the outline being dug into the ground, I found I didn't like the look it as much as I thought I would. I asked if they could change it on the fly and they accommodated me on the spot, adjusting the price just a little for the extra material needed. We enjoyed our little outside getaway all summer and fall, it is beautiful and we can't wait to get back out there this spring. Thanks to Andre, Paul and Alex for taking care of us. If I ever decide to do interlock work on any other parts of my property, there is no one else I would choose for the job.

Front And Backyard - I Feel Like I Have A New House

My wife and I have been planning this renovation for the past year. Yes, we did get different quotes, from the ridiculous highest of the highs and the lowest of the lows, but one factor had to be taken into consideration along with the price, it is the quality of the work, as they say "You get what you paid for". I was frustrated with these quotes as they were unrealistic, along with the consultants that came with these quotes. One day, I came on to a house that Pro-Loc was working on nearby my home and saw a diligent crew working at it. I liked what I saw. In a nutshell, I researched them and saw the approval rating and the reviews alongside it. How I missed them I cannot explain, but I am sure glad that I stopped that day.

I contacted Paul and the next day came to my house, reviewed our plans, obtained a quote, within 30 minutes ( my mind was made up in 10 minutes) the contract was signed. Paul even gave me some addresses to see their work. Truthfully I saw two houses to which one of them I spoke to the lady of the house and she loved their work. This was one of the best decisions my wife and I ever made. They transformed a front and backyard into something I absolutely admire every day. The crew always came on time, consulted me if there were any questions, plus diligent in their work and you could tell they took pride in what they did. Any questions were answered promptly. A couple of times there were flaws in my original plan, but their suggestions made the end results better! They were professional, caring, and their workmanship cannot be called into question, really the best in the business.

If you do hire them, to which I wholeheartedly endorse them, please treat them right and with respect. My wife and I always made them coffee and espresso in the morning, a case of water at the ready, bathroom available at all times. They are good people and you will not be disappointed. We now consider them part of our family and I know that at some point I will call them for future projects. Backyard Patio And Walkway

We had a great experience working with Pro-Loc for the backyard patio and walkway we recently had installed. Paul came out several times during the sales process to answer our questions and offer some great suggestions. Once we had decided to move forward they completed the work to the promised schedule and budget. We're very happy with the finished product and would gladly use Pro-Loc again in the future.

Paul and his team from Pro-Loc did a fabulous job installing our backyard patio. Paul was professional, personable, and very knowledgeable. During our initial consultation, he listened to my needs, offered several suggestions that were in line with my budget, and was able to give us a patio that was above our expectations. His team that did the installation was quick, efficient, and thoroughly cleaned up after the job was done. Nothing left behind. On top of that, Paul was able to MOVE UP our installation date by almost 2 weeks. Now we get to enjoy our patio even sooner that expected! Driveway Interlocked And Armour Stone For Garden

Excellent job---Paul came and quoted the job gave ideas, but the best is his picture book of previous work, expertise and professionalism sold me. We booked a date and because of weather he was always calling to keep me updated, I appreciated this. His team showed up and wow do they work fast and efficient. Great team of guys and hard workers. I waited to write this review as I wanted to see how it held up over the winter, and it held up great. The only beef I had is there is always extra stone ordered, which I have no problem with, however leave a couple of each size with the customer just in case of oil leaks or damage, and an oil leak happened in the first week. I would highly recommend and will be using them again for the back yard.

Interloc Driveway And Steps

Paul from ProLoc came and gave estimate and suggested various ideas and stones for my family to review. No Pressure, but followed up to ensure we had all details needed to make the decision. After getting many quotes we decided to go with Paul, Alex and his team mainly because the comfort they gave us. Their quote was also reasonable (not low, not high, in the middle). On the agreed upon date the whole team came and did the full driveway and steps in one day as specified. My neighbours were amazed at the speed and the quality of work. After 2 months of installation some of the side stones were falling away. On one call Paul came with his team and fixed it right away. It is almost a year now, whole winter has passed and the quality of work shows as there has been no problem. I waited for a year to write this review because I wanted to see how the stones and workmanship stand the winter. No Problem and without any hesitation I would recommend the ProLoc team. By the way I needed some stones cut for the cabana floor and the gang helped us out without any hesitation. They also left extra stones in case it is needed later on.

Paul, Alex, Bill and the entire Pro Loc Team we fantastic to work with. Paul was organized, precise and gave us a great first impression of the company. We had our front driveway interlocked and a walkway and pad done in the backyard. They gave us an accurate start and end date and the work was completed quickly and effectively. We were very satisfied with their work and would definitely recommend this company to others.

Interlocking Patio and Walkway

We wanted to have some landscaping done for some time and decided that this was the year to do so. After online searches and reading reviews we narrowed our list to three companies. They all came out and provided us with quotes. At this point, it was a no brainer to which company to go with. Pro-Loc Interlocking and Landscaping Design stood above the rest! Paul, their representative, first explained our options and how the process would be executed. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about their services while being honest and straightforward. One of his best suggestions was to use our existing standard patio stones as a base for a shed pad. With the money we saved using Paul's suggestion we were able to go with our first choice of pavers. Next, Alex (one of the owners) arrived with his excavation team. One of our dwarf trees had to be relocated as it was a potential tripping hazard. After consultation with us, they replanted with no problem. Bill (co-owner) and his crew followed two days later to do the installation. They too were efficient, hard working and cleaned up after themselves! Aside from the obvious work that was completed, it looked like no one had even been there. It was fun to watch everything come together. They finished our project once they laid down new sod at the edges of the pavers. Pro-Loc Interlocking and Landscaping Design completely transformed our front and back yards as well as our pathway. Before they performed their magic, our yard was basically just there. After their transformation, it is an absolute "stunner" and a place for us to enjoy and relax! Even neighbours whom we have never spoken with have complimented our new landscape! Interloc Walkway

I was wanting to put interloc on our walkway and after contacting several companies decided on Pro-Loc and contacted Paul. Paul was at my house as decided and gave me a quote that was better than all the others that I had received for the job. Alex, Bill and their crews did an amazing and excellent job and workmanship was of the highest standard. The job was done on time and cleaned up after finishing. The walkway looks really great now. Would definitely recommend them highly.

Interlocking Stone Patio

SPOILER ALERT!! - WE REALLY LIKED THIS COMPANY We recently moved to Meadowvale and needed a new designed interloc stone patio. After perusing Home Stars we chose three companies to provide information and a quote. Bill came from Pro-Loc, measured the backyard area, spent time listening to what we wanted and explaining what could be done considering the fence and landscaping and helped us pick out the design. To a slightly lesser extent the other companies did much the same. But here's the best part. I haven't often been in the position where a project had just been completed when my wife arrived and suggested a change. She felt the pattern, which looked great, would look better if we added another stone circle design. The guys were sweating and tired after many hours of work on the second day, the tools were packed up and the materials were ready to be transported to the trucks. Bill and Alex, although I'm sure they wanted to wade into a cold drink, spent the time talking to us about what we wanted and why, especially why?. After a while they agreed that it was a good idea and importantly the crew was still here and there were extra shaped stones. They grabbed some water and In about 45 minutes the space was cut out, the circle stones were laid and everything was perfect!! My wife was very happy. Bill and Alex were on time, polite and along with the rest of the crew, worked their buns off. They identified a slope in the backyard and structured a solution. We can't be more complimentary about how the quality of the project plus the work process exceeded our expectation - better than any other construction project in a long time. Thanks Bill and Alex. Front and Back Landscape

I needed landscape work in both the front and back yards. I came across an ad for Pro-loc and checked them on Homestars... had a lot of great reviews so I gave them a call. The Pro-loc rep., Paul, came over and we discussed some of the landscaping options available. Although I had some ideas of what I wanted done, I really valued Paul's expert opinion as to what would enhance the look of my home. Paul had a vision for the layout, the type and colour of stones and the accents that would make the project work. He drew up a design and gave a quote for the project. I was given time to think about it, and satisfied with the estimate, I called Paul back and we made a contract. When Alex and his crew showed up and started work you got the immediate impression that they knew what they were doing. It was like clock-work. You could tell that they took pride in their work; I would see Alex constantly measuring to see if things were square and level and done right. It is that attention to detail that you want from your contractor. I should note that the team helped with the tree-planting as well. Paul was nice enough to meet me at the nursery where we decided on a selection of trees for my yard and he arranged for one of the crew to pick them up in the truck. They were brought over and then planted.... all at a nominal cost. In the end, the job looked fantastic and I can say that I was completely satisfied. Even my friends and neighbours were totally impressed and some asked for estimates as well.

Alex and the rest of the Pro-Loc team were a true pleasure to deal with and did a gorgeous job on our front entrance. A detailed written quote and diagram was provided in advance, and Alex really took the time to ensure we were all on the same page. The steepness of our property presented some challenges when it came to the look we were hoping for, but they went above and beyond to make it look exactly the way we wanted - we know that was a lot easier said than done, and we are thrilled they were able to pull it off. Alex provided some great recommendations for the types and colours of stone to use and it looks amazing. The entire crew were very friendly, professional and so considerate of our property. They worked very efficiently, left no mess behind and everything was put back in its place before they left. We have received a TON of compliments on the finished product, and we are very happy with the result.
